“Thank you to everyone who voted for us, we are truly humbled,” said Glasbrenner. “We have a neat story to tell and a tremendous group of employees that truly believe in the team-first model –they are the reason of all of our success.”
Smiley Technologies, Inc. provides core banking solutions for community banks across the country. The Company is headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas and was founded in 2002 by President & CEO Elizabeth Glasbrenner and her brother Vance Smiley.
Smiley Technologies employs over 50 people with the majority based in Little Rock. The Company believes its employees, who provide service to its banking clients, are just as important as its software, and Smiley Technologies invests heavily in both. The people-first culture is something that Glasbrenner strives to achieve every day. An example comes from the early days of the pandemic. With its staff working from home, Smiley Technologies provided gift cards to local restaurants to buy lunches for Company employees. This action not only helped support Company employees and their families, but also sent a strong message of support for local restaurants and the local economy.
